The installation procedure shall be carried out as follows:
(1) Before installation, all machine parts must be thoroughly cleaned, and all lubrication lines must be kept unobstructed and clean.
(2) Check whether all components are complete and free from damage, and verify the availability of installation tools. Only then may the installation work proceed.
(3) According to the equipment layout drawing and foundation design drawing, check the position, dimensions, and the tightening condition of the inclined supports connected to anchor bolts or embedded steel plates.
(4) For single and double spiral classifiers with a diameter of 1500 mm or less, the tank has already been assembled and welded into one unit at the manufacturer. It may be directly installed on the foundation. After verifying that the inclination angle and dimensions are correct, welding may be carried out.
(5) For single and double spiral classifiers with a diameter of 2000 mm or more, the tank shall be assembled and welded at the installation site. The installation sequence is as follows:
(6) Fasten the transmission frame (with the transmission device already installed on the frame) to the tank longitudinal beams in accordance with the drawing requirements using bolts, then perform welding.
(7) For single and double spiral classifiers with a diameter of 2000 mm or more, the large oil sump and small oil sump shall be installed and fixed after aligning their positions.
(8) Install the spirals (left-hand and right-hand) and the lower support into the base and tank.
(9) Install the manual centralized lubrication device.
(10) Connect and install the lower support to the lifting device.
(11) The permissible deviations and inspection methods for each installation part of the spiral classifier shall comply with the provisions of Table 11-4.

Spiral Classifier Trial Operation
The following provisions shall be complied with during the trial operation of the spiral classifier:
(1) The no-load trial operation time shall be 4 hours.
(2) The lifting device shall perform a full-stroke lift at least 6 times.
(3) Before the load trial operation of the spiral classifier, a water test shall be carried out, and no leakage shall be allowed.
(4) During the load trial operation of the classifier, the spiral shall be started first, followed by the feed. When stopping operation, the feed shall be stopped first, and then the spiral operation shall be stopped.
(5) During the load trial operation of the classifier, if emergency stopping is required due to a fault, the lifting device shall be activated to raise the spiral above the settled mineral layer before stopping operation. When restarting, the spiral shall be started first, and then the spiral shall be slowly lowered until the tail bearing housing contacts the bottom beam seat. It is strictly forbidden to forcibly start the spiral when it is buried in the settled layer.
(6) The load trial operation time shall be 24 hours.
