Tin concentrate is classified into two categories based on its properties: one is oxide-type tin concentrate that can be directly smelted in a furnace ; the other is sulfide-type tin concentrate that requires processing before smelting . Tin concentrate is also classified into first-grade, second-grade, and third-grade tin concentrates based on its chemical composition. Grade 1, Grade 4, Grade 5, Grade 6, and Grade 7. The quality standards for tin concentrate are shown in Table 5-15.
